Project history

What’s new

The key Gacha Tracker milestones from the first version to today. This is a product history, not a raw list of commits.

New

Project support and a proper update history

  • Added a voluntary support link, this changelog and a small Supporter badge for public profiles. Core tracker features remain free.
New

A new home page in every supported language

  • The home page now explains import, pity, collections, statistics and public profiles with real in-product examples across all 13 active locales.
New

Backup migration became a first-class import method

  • Added ZZZ import from zzz.rng.moe and moved Paimon.moe and Star Rail Station backups onto the same safer preview-and-import pipeline.
New

Banner email reminders

  • You can opt in to an email when a new banner starts and/or one day before it ends, with a direct unsubscribe path.
New

A shareable result card after import

  • After a successful import, Gacha Tracker can generate a compact luck card with 5★ results, pity values and the imported game account.
New

Banner archive, versions and character history

  • Banner pages grew into a browsable archive with version grouping, character history, rerun artwork and announced upcoming phases.
New

Automatic banner schedule and public rotation pages

  • Gacha Tracker started combining several sources to keep banner dates, phases and featured items current, with a public page for each rotation.
New

Pity calculators and community statistics

  • Each game received a no-login pity calculator plus public community averages and distributions built from aggregated tracker data.
New

Gacha Battle arena

  • Public profiles can be compared head-to-head by luck, collection and individual rounds, with a shareable battle result.
Improved

Safer Google account linking and sessions

  • Google is now linked explicitly from account settings, duplicate-email edge cases are blocked, email changes require confirmation, and auth sessions moved fully to httpOnly cookies.
New

Import from Star Rail Station backups

  • HSR history can be moved from a Star Rail Station export, including account/profile detection and item-ID mapping.
New

Quick Import: history stays on your device until upload

  • The local import flow was added so the helper fetches gacha history on the player’s computer and uploads only the resulting data, with progress and cancellation.
Improved

A clearer first-run import flow

  • New accounts now go straight to import instead of an empty dashboard, with clearer steps, better error messages and a one-time reminder if history was never imported.
New

FAQ and a transparent explanation of the import script

  • Added a public FAQ plus a dedicated page explaining what the helper script reads, what it sends and why it does not need your HoYoverse password.
New

Customizable public profile cards

  • Public profiles gained share cards with layout, game, showcase characters, signature pull and custom tagline settings.
New

Gacha Tracker became multilingual

  • The interface expanded to 13 active locales, including localized item names, banner names, API messages and profile/statistics text.
New

Collections arrived on public profiles

  • Public profiles started showing owned 5★ characters and weapons by game, alongside a redesigned archetype summary.
New

Public profiles, Luck Score and activity heatmap

  • Optional public profiles launched with Luck Score, player archetypes, currency/pull summaries, an interactive yearly heatmap and per-game views. Profiles stay private until the owner enables them.
New

Multiple game accounts under one Gacha Tracker account

  • Added per-game UID profiles, profile switching and notifications so separate game accounts no longer have to be mixed together.
New

Built-in support tickets

  • Users can contact support without leaving Gacha Tracker, attach files and receive email/in-app notifications when an admin replies.
New

Zenless Zone Zero support

  • ZZZ joined HSR and Genshin with its own import flow, game selector, dashboard data, icons and database support.
Improved

Moved from a client-only app to Next.js

  • The front end moved to Next.js with server rendering, giving public pages a stronger base for faster first paint, metadata and search indexing.
New

Google sign-in and automatic item catalog updates

  • Google login/register was added, while imports learned to fill missing item mappings and images from wiki data instead of requiring manual catalog maintenance.
New

Password recovery

  • Accounts with a password gained the normal recovery flow by email instead of requiring manual help.
New

Pity tracking and statistics

  • The early tracker gained pity calculation and a statistics view, turning imported history into something useful instead of just a list of pulls.
New

Genshin Impact support

  • Genshin pull-history import was added just two days after the first HSR version, making the project multi-game from the start.
New

Gacha Tracker begins

  • The project started with accounts, Honkai: Star Rail history import and the basic tools needed to keep pull history outside the game.
